Keeping your business productivity at the forefront is important because good productivity enables your business to remain competitive. Many businesses want to include new video communication technology to their business, but don't have the knowledge about how these video communication tools can improve their business's productivity. Here are four reasons why video communication technology can increase your business's productivity. For one, video communication tools enable employees to have more flexible schedules. Rigid schedules often result in bad morale and decreased productivity. With video communication technology employees can work from home or use flex days. They can also use video communication tools to schedule around each other more effectively. Video communication technology also means more computing power at the hands of your employees. They can get more done in less time. For instance, video conferencing tools can arrange communication for whole teams in anywhere in the world, meaning less back-and-forth amongst employees. Video communications also empower employees. To give them better tools to do their jobs means there are less in-person meetings and more time to do priority work tasks. Finally video communication tools also create effective communications between teams and departments in a business. This month, Temasys will release a plug-in for WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. In other words, if you have a site that is hosted by one of those content management systems–as Forbes.com does–you might soon be able to conduct a high-quality audio or video chat with a reader or hold an interactive seminar right from you home site or blog.

Skyway isn’t a consumer product, although within a few years we all should be benefiting. Customers are developers and enterprises that want to create better, cheaper, more reliable video communications services. For example, messaging applications like Viber, WhatsApp and Wechat could build on Skyway to add HD video conferencing. Snapchat could add audio and video functions. So could Facebook.
